Welcome to  The Tiger Den!

Welcome to the online presence of the Malakoff Ex-Students' & Alumni Association.
Please take a few moments to browse the site and we hope you will become a member.
This marks the 20th anniversary of the association & we plan to be have a BIG year in 2014.

The association's slogan, " REUNITING THE PAST; SUPPORTING THE FUTURE ",  describes our mission to provide service to and promote fellowship amongst all Lincoln HS & Malakoff HS exes.

If you don't know the history, Lincoln HS & Malakoff HS integrated in the late 1960's. Lincoln was converted to the junior high on the west side of town.

We want to welcome our Lincoln brothers & sisters!

We provide the ways & means to reunite former classmates and friends through a weekend of  activities during Homecoming weekend. We host a variety of fund raisers to provide scholarships to MHS graduates & support of other local non-profits.

This is achieved through dues, memorial donations, event sponsors, merchandise sales, a raffle and the annual reunion banquet.Since 2009, we have awarded $14,000 in scholarships & donated more than $5,000 to local non-profit organizations including, Malakoff Special Tigers, Malakoff Volunteer Fire Deptartment, Malakoff Historical Society and the Malakoff Education Foundation.

A high school alumni association is a rarity, especially among small high schools.
MHS graduating classes have been from 60 - 80 seniors every year for the past 50 years.
Organizing a class reunion is timely & costly. Typical class reunions only garner about 20% of the class. A class of 65 may have 13 to 14 show up. We can help with your reunion by providing all that is necessary to have one, space, food, & fun!

Since 2011, we have recognized an Outstanding Ex of the Year & donate $1,000 to the
Malakoff Education Foundation in the recipients' name.

Past recipients are
2011 Kenneth Andrews
2012 Homer Ray Trimble
2013 Donald 'Belly' Jordan
2014 Ricky L. & Glenda Baker Armstrong
